Home theater PC - A home theater PC (HTPC) is a personal computer that is used to replace components in a home theater system. The general goal in a HTPC is usually to combine most (or all) of a home theater setup into one box.

Home theater in a box - A "home theater in a box" (HTIB) is a common name for a relatively inexpensive integrated home entertainment package, usually including a DVD player, surround sound capability, and a radio tuner in one box.
